I hope that you are doing well.
Just yesterday, I got to visit the food bank again.
I am constantly amazed everytime that I get to visit with the people at
Second Harvest Food Bank. They are not famous. They are not getting any money or
material out of what they are doing. There are no trumpets blarring when they walk in the door.
They go in quietly. They work hard - really hard- for others.
They do their best to help feed other people that they may never personally know,
on a daily basis. They do this just because they want to make a difference and help their
fellow human beings.
It is no longer the holidays.
They need all of us to keep making a difference.
Why not take your family over and help those who have less than you?
They need you, as well as money!
Ask your mom and dad to take you.
Not for grades.
Not for getting on the news.
Not for a reward.
Just do it because it is the right thing to do.
