Alright... Another knee slapper!~
A man thought he had swallowed a monster, and nothing his doctor said would make him change his mind.
So, finally the doctor gave him an anaesthetic and put him into a deep sleep. When he woke up, the doctor was standing beside his bed, holding a great big green monster on a lead.
'Nothing more to worry about,' he said. 'We operated on you and took him out.'
'Who are you trying to kid?' said the man. 'The one I swallowed was a blue one.'
Marvelous March!
Everything gets brighter in the spring!
The greens are green again.
The sky is more blue than ever.
The garden is growing and alive!
We spent all weekend in the gardens and are planning some visits
to the Huntington Library and Gardens to
see how they are doing, as well!
The big sun hats that have patiently been waiting on pegs all winter
are ready to play.
There are great concerts and operas coming to town.
March is like opening a bunch of big presents all at once.
New nature.
New books.
New art.
New music.
A renewal of life.
We come alive with the flowers and the trees.
With the babbling water, as it unfreezes in the warmth of the new sun.
Stop and look around for a minute.
Take a breath.
Stay quiet.
Listen.
Smile.
It's time for Life.
Paint, Paint Everywhere! Nutty men and their flying machines... Duct tape puppets... Oh, It's in there!
